The 2016-17 Arts Alive! Workshop Series

Super-intensive, fun & educational! Here you will find information on all of our upcoming workshops and classes, some of which will be scheduled on school in-service days, conference days and holidays to keep the kids busy!

Vocal Workshop: Auditioning for Musical Theater for Grades 4-5
This workshop will focus on preparing your 4th or 5th grader for their musical theater audition. Instructors will identify participants current vocal range and learn how to select appropriate songs for audition. Students will also work on projection and pronunciation as well as stage presence. This experience is perfect for building confidence in an audition setting.  Led by piano and vocal instructor, Michelle Lavin, this will be an intensive class with the goal of helping students recognize, develop, and focus on their strengths.

Dates:              Wednesday, 1/11, 6:15-8:15pm

CLASS FULL: Saturday, 1/28, 9-11am (Please contact admin@artsalivebarrington.org if you wish to be placed on the wait list.)

Location:          Michelle Lavin Music, 286 Maple Avenue

Cost:                $50 for one session; $75 for both sessions
